It's a busy place where a canine can quickly find themselves underfoot or dead. Large, powerful dogs mill about guarding the ships and watching the water for humans in distress.

Densely populated by strays and fighting dogs that were deemed insufficient or escaped it is not a place for dogs weak at heart. Many of the buildings have one to several dogs chained outside, slavering and snapping with blood lust. The fighting pits are located here.

While not as dangerous as the Port, there are fewer scraps to be found. Strays pride themselves on knowing every alley and open basement along Main.

| Outskirts of Port Watch |
![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Skyline Ranch A sheep ranch on the Eastern outskirts of Portwatch. Composed of large, green fields and many acres. A coyote or wolf will tell you it's a good place to get an easy meal, but they wont mention the massive guard dogs that keep careful watch. Skyline is also home to many herding dogs that spend their nights in the barn and their days in the field.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Olevine Bordering Shadow Dance is a small, abandoned town that predated Portwatch. Most of the buildings are dilapidated and in poor repair, and it has long been abandoned by humans, who moved to Portwatch or died off.

![[ ]](http://s4.images.proboards.com/off.gif) | Shadow Dance Due to the high hills that border this ravine, it is a source of shadow even on the hottest days. Occasionally a lost ewe will find herself trapped here, making a rich meal for some lucky wild canine. The ravine is also a good area to seek shelter from the elements as there are many den opportunities.

This area is a popular place for dear and elk, that enjoy the green fields from Spring until Fall. With the prey also come the predators though, and man has been known to hunt here along with the bear and the cougar.
